Lesson 2: Module B | Your Why

Lesson 2: Module B

Ask yourself, what did I get into this profession for? What is my big overarching goal? What do I want to get out of this?

Now take a look at your everyday actions and the words you use with the people around you. Do these words and actions support  that goal? Are you in any way robbing from the very goal you are trying to accomplish without realizing it?

It’s easy to get frustrated and start to make decisions based on money instead of values. This is a tough profession to make a living in. When you first get started it's very tempting to take the easy money, but when you look at the big picture, making the value based decisions will lead to more clients and more money in the long run.

Only 18-23% of Americans actually lift weights. Now imagine if instead of praying on this 20% and scaring so many others away we all worked to lower barriers to fitness and say 50%+ started lifting weights. Then we’d have more clients then we would know what to do with.

If you want to look a little more short term, your current clients are your number one source of new clients. Word of mouth is the lifeblood of small businesses. If you can provide an honest service that actually helps people they will do all the advertising for you that you ever need.

Always remember to zoom out and see the big picture. It's often easy to get caught up with what's right in front of us and then we end up missing the larger goal.
