  1. What is your current assessment/evaluation process?

  2. Do you place a greater importance on communicating with the patient during an assessment/evaluation, or on doing a detailed objective examination? Why?

  3. How do you currently present evaluation findings to a patient? Does the way you do so encourage an internal locus of control, or encourage the patient to view you as a “fixer”?

  4. What is the value in discussing uncertainty with diagnoses/prognoses?

  5. What information are you looking to gather during your assessment/evaluation?

  6. When coaching technique what are some of the big things you are looking for on each lift? 

  7. How do you approach the conversation of technique with someone who is overly worried about how they move?
