Lesson 5: Module B | Business Models
Lesson 5 | Module B
At the end of the day running a successful business is about maximizing revenue and minimizing expenses. This all starts with proper pricing for your services. By knowing your dollar per hour and assessing the time spent on each task you can come up with the proper cost of that service.
Once priced correctly you can better evaluate how to best spend your time and look at alternative revenue streams that could be worthwhile and increase your dollar per hour. As your business is growing and time is plentiful you should spend all your time working on the business but as the business grows and your time becomes limited you can use your dollar per hour figure to decide what task to outsource. When outsourcing it is also important to take into account your strengths and weaknesses and spend time doing the things that you can do better and less time doing the things you know someone else can do better.
