Just the other day I had a client come up to me and thank me for letting her workout with less than perfect form. She went on to explain how at the last gym they were at it took her 3 hours to complete a workout because they were always bothering her to change her technique and it was discouraging, made lifting unenjoyable, and took too much time.
Since starting with us we have made programming modifications to work on building more efficient techniques without hounding her and constantly telling her she was wrong. There are always ways to make the desired change without bringing the client down.
