I started to train with Paul a few years ago. I needed help with a knee injury. It took a long time. I knew I had to be patient and “trust the process.” Along the long road to healing my knees, I just happened to get stronger. You can’t just go to the gym and willy nilly on the cardio equipment. When I think of all the hours I wasted on the treadmill, OY! With the personal training program written for me, and with the coaches’ encouragement, I competed in my first powerlifting meet AT 55!. Who does that? It was incredible and scary and addicting. I learned that you could be brave at any age. I also have found an incredible group of women to work out with that I cannot imagine living without.
The Resilient team have taught me there is no age limit to getting strong. They have given me the guidance and instruction to work out in the gym with or without them safely. The coaches have also taught me mobility is essential; keep your body moving and never stop. Paul has created an incredible gym environment in the Resilient Training Lab, where you are valued. Your health and safety is important to them. Your success in the gym is as important to them, as it is to you. Paul is genuinely one of the best humans I know. His laugh is contagious.
