“My athletic background consists of football, wrestling, and powerlifting. I have competed in 10 powerlifting meets over the last 7 years. Two years ago, I reached out to Resilient Training Lab to provide structure to my conditioning work and improve my mobility. While I was able to express strength on the platform, my health markers and overall quality of life was suffering from a lack of aerobic conditioning, I moved like the tin man, and my work capacity was abysmal. RTL emphasizes the importance of building strength in multiple planes in order to reduce the occurrence of injury and improve my movement patterns. Six months later my RHR dropped to the low 50s, my BP sat around 110/60, my blood work showed improvement in several markers, and I was able to piece together my best performance on the platform with room for more. These quantitative results and the coaches meticulousness exceeded my expectations.

Six months ago, I asked RTL to take over my programming. The coaches were able to manage my high levels of external stress and provided a program that fit my limited schedule while I finished grad school. During this time they were very receptive to my feedback and we were able to continually improve my work capacity, mobility, and resilience. Focusing on these qualities set the groundwork for long term success on the platform. I am currently the strongest and healthiest I have been during my entire life. Working with RTL has greatly improved my quality of life and I look forward to every training block because I know it is setting the framework for long term success.

Resilient Training Lab constantly seeks out opportunities for additional education and provides programming based off of the current research and the unique needs of the athlete.
