The Resilient Training Lab Podcast: Episode 6

Episode 6 of The Resilient Training Lab Podcast is all about...you guessed it...the coronavirus! Paul and Ryan talk about your mindset during this time and how we should focus on doing what is practical versus optimal, minimize catastrophizing, and celebrate small wins. They also discuss the importance of maintaining a schedule during this chaotic time and aiming to keep our NEAT up.  They also go into how although most of us are left with minimal or no equipment right now, we can still make progress and minimize losses in strength. If we focus on increasing hypertrophy, aerobic capacity, and working close to failure, then we should be in a good place once we are all back in the gym. They close up the conversation with talking about how we all need to stick together during this time. It is a tough situation and it can be a rollercoaster of emotions, but we should all do what we can to support each other and get through this together.
