“I have been working with Paul for just about 2 years. When I met Paul, I wasn’t eating or sleeping well due to chronic stress. I was “training” but not making much progress. Paul led a discussion one day about the importance of sleep in meeting our life goals. It took me a while to improve my sleeping, but I cannot say how it has improved my life. The coaches at RTL write me a personal program every 4 weeks. There are plenty of months that I have fallen behind due to life (traveling, being sick, injured kids, etc.) but they are always there to encourage me. When my bench press stalled at 100 pounds, the coaches taught me how to improve my technique. It took me several months, but once I learned the proper form, I finally hit a PR at 115 pounds. I couldn’t have done it without them standing right there coaching me (and adding weight to my bar).
As a single mother, I need to be strong mentally, physically, and emotionally. These personal programs I get at Resilient Training Lab help me to be all three. When I get pain in my hip or knee, the coaches show me exercises to help it feel better. I am not exhausted after my workouts and I still see changes in my fat loss goals and my strength. My personal programs have taught me that small incremental changes along with persistence and determination transform me. This is true for my performance at the gym, at home with my family, and at work. I’m not the strongest person at the gym, far from it, but my strength continues to build. I could not have done it without my Resilient family and the Resilient coaches." - Amy
